The Grayslake police chief was charged with drunk driving after a Wisconsin crash involving him and his wife a week-and-a-half ago.

According to officials, Matt McCutcheon was turning onto Route 45 in Silver Lake, Wis. about 10 p.m. March 30 when he struck another car. Forty-six-year-old McCutcheon was allegedly swaying and nearly lost his balance when police officers arrived.

He was charged with driving under the influence and being armed while intoxicated and was taken to the Kenosha County Jail. He was placed on paid leave until the legal proceedings are completed.

If you or your loved one has been seriously injured by a drunk driver, you may want to discuss your case with a Kenosha, Wisconsin personal injury attorney. Call Puntillo, Camilli and Hughes, S.C. today for an initial consultation.
